TERMS OF SERVICE.
Please read these terms and conditions carefully before commissioning architectural drawing services, CAD drafting, planning support, or 3D visualisations from The Studio Arch Ltd.
1. Scope of Services
The Studio Arch Ltd operates as an architectural drawing, CAD drafting, technical documentation, and 3D visualisation studio. Services offered include, but are not limited to:
- Existing and proposed architectural planning drawings (Floor plans, elevations, sections, site plans).
- Building Regulations technical drawing packs for submission to Local Authority Building Control or Approved Inspectors.
- 2D CAD conversion, measured survey drafting, and Revit BIM documentation.
- Photorealistic 3D CGI architectural visualisations and presentation renderings.
2. Quotations, Fees & Payment
All project quotations issued by The Studio Arch are fixed-fee proposals based on the agreed client brief and supplied project information. Unless otherwise stated in your quotation:
- Quotations are valid for 30 calendar days from the date of issue.
- Work commences following confirmation of quotation and receipt of any required advance deposit.
- Final drawing deliverable files (unwatermarked high-resolution PDFs, DWGs) are released upon full payment of the invoice.
- Standard revision cycles as detailed in the project quotation are included. Material alterations or structural scope changes outside the initial brief will be quoted separately.
3. Intellectual Property Rights & Licensing
All original drawings, 3D CGI models, visualisations, and digital files prepared by The Studio Arch remain the copyright of The Studio Arch Ltd until paid for in full.
Upon final payment, the client is granted a non-exclusive, perpetual license to use the drawings and documentation solely for the purpose of the specific project, planning submission, or building regulation application for which they were commissioned.
4. Professional Liability & Planning Disclaimers
While The Studio Arch prepares drawings in accordance with current UK planning guidance and Building Regulations Approved Documents:
- Statutory Approvals: Planning permission decisions are at the sole discretion of the relevant Local Planning Authority. We do not guarantee statutory approval, as planning outcomes depend on council policies, conservation constraints, and local officer discretion.
- Structural Calculations: Architectural drawings indicate spatial layouts and construction notes. Where structural beam calculations, raft foundation designs, or Party Wall agreements are required, these must be confirmed by a qualified Structural Engineer or Party Wall Surveyor.
- Site Verification: All dimensions provided by clients must be verified on-site prior to ordering materials or commencing excavation/construction work.
5. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute.
